This is an Onsite position at our Shreveport, LA Terminal and the candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule of:
Shift: Monday-Friday 10AM-8PM
Salary ranges from: $60,000-$75,000 a 5-10% performance bonus
Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To:
- Dispatching a team of drivers
- Relaying critical information between drivers and our vendors / terminal managers
- Review and revise driver routes to increase efficiencies while monitoring a changing workload
- Being aware of freight that is in transit
- Assist and report issues that drivers face when they’re on the road (i.e. flat tire)
- Ensure facility Key Performance Indicator (KPI) goals are met and/or exceeded
- Maintain a safe work environment compliant with state and federal DOT/OSHA standards
- Provide/ support a culture of excellence in quality of product to internal and external customers
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience in a transportation, cross docking, or shipping and receiving environment
- Strong leadership qualities
- Desire to surround customer with excellence in service
- High aptitude for technology
- The ability to multi-task while being detail oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- An associates or Bachelor’s Degree, preferred but not required

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
